Roadside tyre assistance from a mobile tyre fitter in Northamptonshire

Stuck With A Tyre Problem? We Come To You

Whether it's a flat on a country lane outside Towcester, a blowout on the way into Northampton or kerb damage in a supermarket car park in Kettering, TyreGO provides roadside tyre assistance across Northamptonshire, 24 hours a day. Our mobile tyre van carries the equipment to replace or repair a tyre where you are, so you don't need to wait for a tow truck just because of a tyre.

What we can do at the roadside

  • Supply and fit a replacement tyre, then balance the wheel
  • Repair a puncture to BS AU 159 where the tyre is safely repairable
  • Replace a damaged or leaking tyre valve
  • Fit your spare wheel, or fit a tyre you already have
  • Take away and dispose of your old tyre

We'll ask a few questions when you call so we can bring the right tyre and confirm the price with you before setting off. For call-outs at home or work, see our emergency tyre fitting service.

What To Do While You Wait For Us

01

Get to a safe place

If the car can be driven slowly and safely, move it off the road — into a lay-by, side road or car park. Switch on your hazard lights.

02

Get out safely

If it's safe to leave the vehicle, get out on the side away from traffic and wait well away from the road, behind a barrier where there is one.

03

Tell us where you are

Give us a postcode, road name, junction number or landmark. A dropped pin on WhatsApp is very helpful.

04

Don't drive on a flat

Driving on a flat tyre can ruin the wheel and make an otherwise repairable tyre unrepairable.

On a motorway or fast dual carriageway? Follow the Highway Code. If you can, leave at the next junction or services. If you stop on the hard shoulder or in an emergency area, get out on the left and wait behind the barrier. If you stop in a live lane or you feel you are in danger, stay in the vehicle with your seatbelt on and hazard lights flashing, and call 999. Your safety comes before your tyre — once you're somewhere safe, call us and we'll arrange the fitting.

Roadside Assistance FAQs

Is this the same as breakdown cover?

No. TyreGO is a mobile tyre service. We deal with tyre problems — replacement tyres, puncture repairs and valves — at the roadside. For engine or other mechanical breakdowns, contact your breakdown provider.

Can you work on the motorway hard shoulder?

Working on the hard shoulder is dangerous. Where possible, get the vehicle to the next junction, services or another safe place. If you can't move the vehicle, follow the Highway Code and contact the emergency services if you are in danger. Call us and we'll talk through the safest option.

Do you come out at night?

Yes. TyreGO operates 24/7, including late at night, weekends and bank holidays.

I don't know my tyre size — can you still help?

Yes. The size is printed on the tyre sidewall (for example 205/55 R16). If you can't read it safely, give us your vehicle registration and model and we'll work it out with you.

Which roads and areas do you cover?

We cover Northampton and all of Northamptonshire, including routes around Northampton, Wellingborough, Kettering, Corby, Rushden, Daventry, Towcester and Brackley.
